Want to have an army of marketers marketing your product, so you’re getting paid doing almost zero work?
It does take a little bit of effort, but the rewards are well worth it.

Your Conversion Rate and Payouts

Your conversion rate and your payouts are two of the most important numbers that any affiliate marketer will look at.

What’s a good payout?

If you’re selling a physical product or a workshop, 10% to 20% is standard. If you’re selling an information product, 50% to 90% is standard.

If you look through a bunch of affiliate programs, you’ll find that most infomarketers who are attracting a lot of affiliates are offering 60% or above commission. Even on Clickbank, where 75% commission is the limit, top marketers are often paypaling their top affiliates another 15% bonus on top.

Why is that?

Would you rather make $4 on 2,000 orders a month, or keep the entire 100% and have no affiliates?

The high commissions will attract more affiliates and super affiliates. Even if you only make a few dollars per order, it can be made up in sheer volume.

That’s how affiliate marketing works: You give away a cut, but you make it back in volume.

Clickbank, Commission Junction, CPA Networks

Affiliate networks are a powerful tool for getting more affiliates.

Clickbank is great for infomarketers. If you can get to the top of a category in Clickbank, you’ll make well over 500 sales on autopilot just from affiliate marketers.

The trick with Clickbank is attracting your first few affiliates and getting your Gravity rating above 10. After that, let your conversion rate and product attract the affiliates for you.

Commission Junction is great for physical products with lower payouts. It’s quite tricky to get on CJ. Usually they only accept major players who’ve been in the market for some time.

CPA networks are great if you can pay per action instead of per sale. If you can pay $3 for an email address or $6 for a form submit because you know your conversion rate, you can really make a killing put putting your product on those networks.

Finding Affiliates

One method of getting affiliates is to have a good product and conversion rate and attract affiliates by being on networks and offering a high payout.

The second method is to actively seek out affiliates and super affiliates.

First, build a name for yourself in your own industry. Then start contacting people in your industry and offering to partner with them. Google your top keywords and contact the owners of the first 3 websites and see if they’d like to try promoting your product. Contact well known names and talk about JVing.

Also, meet people in person. Go to both marketing conventions and conferences in your industry. If you’re in health for example, go to both marketing conventions and health conventions.

At marketing conventions, you’ll meet “super affiliates” whose sole business is promoting other people’s products. At industry conventions, you’ll meet people in your industry with already high trafficked lists and websites. Build a relationship with these people, do something for their business, then ask them to try out promoting your products for a commission.

Even if you can’t make it to national conferences, go to your own local get-togethers. Almost everywhere in the world are business and marketing mastermind groups and meetups. Almost everywhere in the world are smaller interest meetups.

In short, pay your affiliates extremely well, build a killer salespage, list your product on affiliate networks, become known in your industry and contact other known individuals, seek out affiliates and super affiliates at conferences and build your affiliate base.

I get really tired of reading articles and watching videos telling people to “take baby steps” in order to succeed.

Really? Baby steps?

Baby steps are exactly that. When babies learn to walk, they hold on to the edge of the chair, hold your hand… and even with help, it still takes them 20 times longer to cross the room than anyone else. And they fall down alot. Even cry, and give up sometimes.

Is that how you want to run your business?

It’s not enough to just take action… although that’s a start. You need to have a plan, sit down and focus, and WORK HARD.

Now, don’t get me wrong.

I LOVE action plans. What I don’t like is having 90 page “step-by-step” guides that take longer to read than to apply, and then tell me I’m done until tomorrow.

If you are really going to succeed, you need to make the commitment to take what you are doing seriously. You need to be willing to sacrifice your free time – miss your favorite show, pass on a party… if necessary, give up a luxury or two… and you need to follow through on your plan of attack.

YES, this is a no-holds-barred, REAL review of the Automated Sales Formula.

I received an email from Keith’s promotion manager asking me to sign up as an affiliate and promote this product.

As you know, I don’t promote anything that I haven’t personally reviewed. Keith was kind enough to allow me access so that I could give you my honest and informed opinion.

So lets get to it…

First: The intial video sales page for the Automated Sales Formula is very long.  And you can’t skip it or fast-forward. Personally, I prefer the ability to do either, as I usually do my due diligence before buying a product at this price point.

HOWEVER… If you want to know exactly what you’re buying and every detail about the product from Keith, then take the time to sit and watch the video. There is a lot of information to digest.

I am not a big fan of income claims. Almost right away there is a huge income claim of $20 million dollars of generated revenue. (This includes revenue generated by affiliates and customers which is fully disclosed in the video, and Keith indicates that he has the documentation to back it up, but the “shock and awe” of that amount of money tends to put me on guard.)

I’m also not a big fan of adding prices to bonus items showing a huge difference between the value of the total offer and the total cost of the product. I’m sure you know what I am talking about. For example, the product offered for sale is $500 and the added bonuses are given a total value of $38,000. While the claim may indeed be true and the products offered as bonuses may have at one time been offered for these prices, chances are that these bonus items are no longer being sold at that price point, or even being offered at all due to outdated information.

That being said, I have had the opportunity to review the entire Automated Sales Formula package. And the bonus items DO add quite a lot of value. Do I think it’s $38,000 worth of value? No, not really. But I would have to say that some of the information in just a few of the bonus items are definitely worth the price of the entire package – especially for those just starting out.

One other thing that bothered me was the extremely short refund policy. If you wish to claim a refund for the product, you must do so within 72 hours of purchase. Now, if this were the type of product that you could grasp in an hour or two, then the 3 day return policy wouldn’t be a problem. But just to write this review, I had to dedicate a significant amount of valuable time to be thorough – and I am STILL not through everything…

SO… if you are not absolutely sure you want this product, don’t bother buying it. Keith spent considerable time in his video explaining in great detail what you will find inside the member area. There are no surprises there, just a vast amount of valuable, useful information.

If you watch the video and can see the value this product holds, then I recommend that you buy it. But only if you are willing to follow directions and do the work. Yes, this product has a significant amount of automation, but it isn’t hands-free. There are also a lot of tactics and strategies provided within the bonus material that isn’t part of the Automated Sales Formula – and I recommend taking the time to go through all of it and make notes… and APPLY what you learn!

I have outlined several of the negatives that I am sure others have discussed, because I am of the mind that you need to be fully aware of what you are buying. But also know that I have become an affiliate and endorse the product – something I don’t do lightly.

I am tired of excuses from people.

Maybe I’m just hormonal today, but this really irks me.

I get asked this question alot.

And YES, home-based businesses are reliable… as reliable as YOU are.

And YES, you can create an online business with zero money (other than your computer and internet connection). Any tools you may require can be found for free online.

No, you don’t have to “work harder than you would at your office”. What would be the point??

Will it take work? Yup.

If you are looking for a magic button, there isn’t one.

If you need to create enough cash to live on, then you need to be prepared to spend a few hours daily on the task. Choose your business niche, decide on a plan, and TAKE ACTION.

The only thing that can stop you from making money is YOU.

Don’t spend weeks “researching”.

Don’t get bogged down in information overload.

Choose a plan that sounds logical and does not promise the moon from respected industry leaders (Google them to see what others think of them) and work the plan.

It really is that simple.
