NEW! Graphics For Internet Marketers
Every day I get requests from people who want quotes on different projects, and I end up going through the same process over and over…
First I get an email asking about rates. I reply with a request for details so that I can provide a quote. They reply with their requirements, and I respond with a quote, time frame for completion and payment information. If they decide to go ahead, there’s usually a few details to clear up, too.
This process of information gathering sometimes takes several days… so I decided to streamline the process!
I just finished putting the final touches on my new site, Graphics With Impact - Graphics Designed Especially For Internet Marketers. I decided to make it as easy as possible to get the information you need, without wading through sales copy, and with the prices right up front.
Of course, the packages available are not all that I can do… I simply put the most asked-for packages together to make it easy to decide. If there’s something special you need, I’ve included a form to fill out your requirements for a custom project.
Go take a look for yourself! I’d love to get your feedback!

Hi Jason!
Thanks for your comments! I am delighted that my examples seem to be “making the grade”.
I actually do have a sales page with more information, much more like a normal site with more extensive information, and I will be putting that out there as my main site soon. The GraphicsWithImpact.com site is a take-off from that, and I just wanted to get some pricing up so that I could focus less on email and more on my work.
I know what you mean when you say that more people will likely see that site; I’ve had a great response from a last minute design I threw together for Xiosoft, and I ended up winning their contest. You can see my design on my examples page, and also at the top of their recommended designer page.
I have taken your words to heart, however, and will try and add a bit more to the site to explain this part of my business and who I am.
Thanks so much for your input (and tweet!)
Hey Lisa,
Nice offer, very clear and easy to understand.
Curiously, do you have any testing results on how great graphics out-convert mediocre graphics? If so, let’s talk!
Lisa, That site is AMAZING. I love the graphics on that page itself. And I love the straight to the point sales letter. No fluff is always good, IMO. I also like the fact that you have a contact me right below the first fold.
How’d you learn to do all those graphics.
Great job…

Hi Donna!
You know, graphic design is more than just making a page “pretty”. I was speaking with a few people on Skype last night, discussing the very same thing - conversions based on design.
I personally don’t have any testing done on my designs, unless someone has used one of my sites in a split test of their own. So a big “shout out” to all my peeps - if you can show me any statistics on conversions based on my designs, I would be delighted to feature it on my website!
I am of the mind that there is a defined difference between a graphic designer and a graphic artist, and rarely do the two meet.
A graphic artist is (to me) a skilled artist who has found a way to transfer their skill into online work and usually began in online web design by making pages for themselves. As people saw their work, they were encouraged to start making money from the skill they enjoy.
A graphic designer is someone who may or may not have natural artistic ability; instead, they’ve learned what works and what doesn’t, and are focused less on what they like personally than the commercial value of the project… and are able to look past their own personal preferences to see the vision that the client sees.
Rarely do these two come together in one person.
And in my long-winded way, this is what my point is: A commercial graphic designer/artist knows what ENHANCES a message, knows what appeals to a market, and knows how NOT to overpower that message.
A design is meant to create a feeling of professionalism and comfort, intrigue the visitor and entice them to read. Any part of a design that is extraneous and not there for thiat specific purpose needs to go.
Hi, Deb!!
Thanks for the kind words! I don’t mind writing, but the target for that particular site was Internet Marketers, who are short on time and really - they know what they like. I just laid it all out there, and if they like what they see, they’ll use me.
I’ve been doing graphics since forever… I had a computer before the company I worked for started using desktop publishing - and they were a newspaper!!
Developing a commercial advertising portfolio really helped me over the years, from newspapers to national magazines, and from intern to marketing director… I’ve done it all.

Hi Lisa,
The graphics are well done. I like the examples. But I think it may need a little more salesmanship…
Well, maybe not, because that’s a page that you will direct people to who inquire about your services. However, you should also consider that a LOT of people may stumble upon it who have no idea what you do and that may need that little extra boost to place an order.
With social bookmarking, tweets (I tweeted it by the way), and all the other web 2.0 stuff out there, your site may get seen by a lot more people than you think.
Also, have you considered offering an affiliate program for your services?
