Questions By Tony Blake Answered by Dr. Mani In Blog Attack
.
Today I saw a Twitter made by Tony Blake…
“You’re beginning to remind me of me of Joe Kumar — think about it - Are you even a REAL Dr. anymore?”
This was in response to yet another post by Dr. Mani about starting Twitzine - a new ezine Dr. Mani has created.
Now, I have been party to dozens of conversations, conferences, etc. that have questioned exactly that - whether Dr. Mani is actually a doctor, if there is actually a Foundation, etc. I’ve heard snide comments, I’ve listened to people voice the cynical view that it’s likely a ploy, and I myself am ashamed to say I’ve never bothered to ask the questions.
Thank God Tony Blake finally had enough of all the speculation and asked.
Sadly, Dr. Mani decided to take offense. Here’s his reply:

I was completely disappointed by this post, because I’ve always liked Dr. Mani, and I didn’t expect that kind of response to a pointed question - especially from someone who he knows has influence, and is well-known for being extremely direct. He has exposed many scammers in his day.
Just being on Tony Blake’s radar at all is a huge compliment to Dr. Mani’s marketing efforts.
After posting this attack, Dr. Mani deleted Tony Blake from his Twitter list.
At Christmas, I was fundraising for something called the Grinch Fund - you may recall… In only 2 short weeks, in the Internet Marketing niche alone, we raised almost $3000. One very large reason for this was due to the efforts that Tony Blake made on my behalf.
Do you think that Tony didn’t grill me about this? No, Tony is NOT the most diplomatic of souls, but he is probably the most ethical man I know in the internet marketing industry. And if he says to trust someone, I know he’s already asked the hard questions. If he says someone is a scammer, then all I need to do is ask for the proof and he’ll be happy to provide it.
And if he doesn’t know, he will definitely ask - and likely in a way to evoke an immediate answer from honest people, and total ignorance from those who are scamming.
As I said at the beginning of this post, I’m sad and disappointed by Dr. Mani’s reply via his blog. These questions are discussed at length out of his hearing, and it would have been more in keeping with what I expected from Dr. Mani if he’d replied with grace.
Apparently I was mistaken.
Here is Tony Blake’s video reply, for anyone who’s interested:

I’m very interested in people’s thoughts on this.
