2008 is gonna be great!

.

It’s exactly 2 minutes after midnight… and I’m sitting here at my computer, (working) on the biggest party night of the whole year. Would you like to know WHY? Because there’s no place else I’d rather be.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve done a lot of thinking about the direction I want to go this year, both professionally and personally. And in this, my 40th year, I feel the need to have some concrete goals.

I’m not talking about the usual bunch of resolutions people make, but real changes and attainable goals that can happen right away.

I’m lucky - I just love what I do. I reluctantly sign off the computer at the end of the day, and jump out of bed every morning eager to get back to work.

In recent months, I’ve been delving into some new and interesting areas with friends both old and new… and I’ll be sharing some of that with all of you soon. My graphics have been highly sought after, and I’m delighted with the quality of unique creations I’ve done and plan to continue stepping it up in this new year.

Over the next two months, you’ll see some of those goals and plans come about - in some unexpected ways, I’m sure you’ll agree! Not only am I cutting quite a few languishing domains, but the ones I plan to keep are going to be getting a major overhaul… most importantly, my portfolio.

I have several other partnerships in the works for a few projects that you’re going to love!! I am giddy with excitement and can’t wait to see what you think!! I had hoped to be ready for today, but I’m not - and I refuse to rush it and put out junk.

Don’t worry, though - it’s totally worth the wait.

My professional “resolutions” for 2008 include a large dose of organization. It’s been so hectic, it’s easy to let things fall through the cracks, and it’s stupid of me not to be more organized. I’ve purchased a book to write notes in, and a desk calendar to keep deadlines right in front of me.

My other major goal is to streamline and automate as much as humanly possible, and get rid of the rest. I started working full time online in order to have freedom, and I don’t yet have that. I will by the end of this year.

On a more personal note…

I have spent the bulk of the past 15 years helping out others - family, friends… all at the expense of my own hopes and dreams. This is the year I take back my life. I need to move - and my goal for that is February/March. I have health issues that have been put off for far too long, due to expense. That’s second on my list. Third…

Well, that’s for me and him to muddle through… LOL

All in all, 2008 is going to be a spectacular year of big changes, small adjustments and personal satisfaction and triumph.

How about you?
